Blessings from my King!
My wife, Geri, and I are overwhelmed by the response to our Saviour this past year at Lake Drummond Baptist Church. Men, women, boys and girls are giving their lives to Jesus and whole families are experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives and households.
Since last January we have voted and brought on board five new deacons, four who have just been ordained. Man Time started the monthly Community Breakfasts which have reached out to the church and to the community at large. Awana Clubs started this past September and are meeting Sunday nights with an average attendance of fifty or more. Our Music program is growing by leaps and bounds. Ladies’ Bible studies are impacting the women of our church and Man Time is still meeting on Monday nights at the parsonage with 10 to 15 men showing up every Monday night!
There is much you can do at Lake Drummond Baptist Church but the main thing is keeping the main thing the main thing. Jesus is the reason for our existence as a church and He is and shall be at the forefront of everything we plan and do.
If you have never trusted in Jesus as your Saviour and Lord . . . may you take this opportunity even now and invite Him into your life and allow Him to take control of your eternal security. Scripture tells us that Jesus died for our sins on a cross, was buried and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures that we might have life through Him. Men like me will let you down but He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will never let you down.
May God richly bless you as you seek His will for your life with each and every step you take in this New Year.
