The Women’s Auxiliary is a ministry that includes all aspects of individual and group servitude, personal and spiritual growth, fellowship and missions related activities. The principal purpose of the Women’s Auxiliary is to reach women for Christ; to help women grow in acknowledging Him as Lord of their lives; to encourage women to be obedient to His Word and to challenge women to pursue His Holiness.

Vacation Bible School

Each year, our church sets aside one full week to conduct a Vacation Bible School.   Our VBS, as we call it, is intended to provide a fun time for children of all ages; to expose them to the Bible, as well as to reach children, youth, and their families for Jesus Christ.   Our VBS is free and is packed full of Biblical stories, skits, crafts, and music.   It’s open to children ages 4 to rising seventh grade.

Sunday School Program

At Lake Drummond Baptist Church, our Sunday School Program is the basic organization for the Bible teaching program. The tasks stressed are to teach the biblical revelation, reach persons for Christ, and interpret information regarding the work of the church and the denomination. Our Sunday School Program is organized by departments and classes appropriate for all ages.

Sunday School meets from 9:45 to 10:45AM every Sunday morning.

Nursery Ministry

Lake Drummond Baptist Church provides a Nursery Ministry which not only provides for the “sitting” of young children during times of worship, but we also endeavor to make the time fulfilling for the children placed in our trust.   Whether it be biblical tapes, crafts, or stories, our children receive the biblical foundation required to enhance early Christian growth.  Nursery services are available during both Sunday morning Worship Services and Sunday School.

Music Ministry

The music ministry is currently facilitated by volunteer, Jessica Boone. Lake Drummond Baptist Church is seeking a part-time person to step in and lead the music on Sunday morning and practice with the choir on Wednesday evenings.

The music ministry is the music education, training and performance organization of the church. This ministry provides music that promotes worship and fellowship as well as training church members to develop and utilize their musical talents.

Wednesday evening from 7:35 to 8:30PM – The Choir invites any and all to come join us every Wednesday night at 7:30 as we prepare music for our Sunday worship, and our Christmas and Easter Worship Musicals.

Baptist Men

The Baptist Men or BMen is the umbrella support organization for men, young men and boys.  We are a ministry that includes all aspects of individual and group servitude, personal and spiritual growth, fellowship and missions related activities.  The principal purpose of the BMen is to reach men for Christ; to help men grow in acknowledging Him as Lord of their lives; to encourage men to be obedient to His Word and to challenge men to pursue His Holiness.  The BMen mirrors the structure of the Woman’s Auxiliary and is the cornerstone of building Christian Leaders for the future of the church.

We meet every Monday Night at 6:30 p.m. for Monday Night Man Time in the Fellowship Hall at Lake Drummond Baptist Church. We enjoy food, fellowship and a devotion from the Word.

Awana Clubs

Awana LogoLeading Kids Worldwide to Know, Love and Serve Christ

Awana Clubs is a great ministry tool to help churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. This ministry offers a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.

As a ministry leader for over 60 years, Awana is making an impact. A recent national survey found Awana to be as important to thier alumni’s spiritual foundation as all other church activities combined. Among alumni who participated in our programs for at least six years, 92.7 percent still attend church at least weekly as adults!

Each week, more than one million kids ages 2 to 18 participate in Awana worldwide. Over 12,000 churches in the U.S. and 6,500 internationally run Awana ministries that change young lives through biblical truth.

Lake Drummond Baptist Church meets for Awana Clubs on Sunday night from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm during the school year.

The Awana Clubs

Cubbies [3 & 4 year olds]: is the Awana Club designed for children who are in the two years prior to beginning regular kindergarten. All Cubbies must be 3yrs old by the start of club and potty trained. The Cubbies program features Scripture memorization and basic Bible truths that preschoolers can understand. The program materials help parents to actively participate in their child’s spiritual development. Because the preschool years are a time of vital development for children, Cubbies encourages parents and club Leaders to work as a team in spiritually nurturing children. Cubbies earn apple patches for their vests by reciting verses.

Sparks [K-2nd]: is for Kindergarten through 2nd grade boys and girls. Sparks moves the children through a disciplined walk with the Lord by providing Bible verses which reinforce basic doctrine, provides activities, and helps the kids understand basic issues of honesty, manners, etc. Sparks get a set of wings when they earn their first award for each book (HangGlider, WingRunner, SkyStormer). The awards are colored jewels that fit in the wing. You will be amazed to see how fast your children work to fill their wings!

Truth & Training: T&T Adventure [3rd-4th] and T&T Challenge [5th-6th] is for children in grades 3 through 6. There are a total of four handbooks for the T&T group, broken down by T&T Ultimate Adventure (2 books) and T&T Ultimate Challenge (2 books). Our goals are three-fold. First is to help the children come to a better understanding of who Jesus is and how He can be a vital part of their life. Second is to understand the Bible and memorize the Word of God with the aid of their Awana Handbooks. The third goal is to have fun and fellowship together. T&T Clubbers earn patches to display on their uniform shirts.

Trek Youth [7th-9th]: challenges students to wrestle with the three most important questions they’re asking in middle school: Who am I? Why am I here? Who’s with me? By allowing students to dive deep into the Scriptures and answer these questions for themselves, we allow them to own their faith and discover what they actually believe.

Journey Youth [10th-12th]: Journey establishes high school students as lifelong disciples through a deep study of God’s Word, mobilizing them to live with godly perspective and evident faith. Four complete years’ worth of material supports your 9th-12th grade high-school ministry with a variety of topics to choose from.
